The position is considered a full time office position and will be located in the office.



GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:



Th Office Administrator will be responsible for assisting the Edmonton project team in executing their work program by supporting the operations of the branch. This role will be involved in both operations and administrative initiatives and its responsibilities will be varied as outlined below.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:



Receiving courier packages, opening and distribution Telephone answering and re-direct to office staff Receiving courier packages, opening and distribution Schedule courier shipments Receiving mail, opening and distribution Receiving AP cheques, logging, call out, mailing and hand over to trades/couriers Expense paperwork handling/filing Timesheet paperwork handling/filing PO book logging and distribution Bid labels/envelopes Prepares project binders Prepares and fills O&M binders, make digital and hard copies Bid proposal binding and laminating as necessary Monitoring copier toner supplies, loading toner and ordering toner Monitoring paper load in copier, loading paper and ordering paper Check for and distribution of faxes Ordering stationery supplies as necessary Cleaning kitchen daily Monitoring and ordering all office consumables Seasonal event planning, set up and clean up

Download tender documents to Estimating Folder Update Delnor tender calendar online, on whiteboard, and on spreadsheet Maintain & Update "Unassigned Tender" Folder Prepare tender envelopes and labels Assemble, laminate and bind RFP Proposals Receive and monitor the Tenders email and distribute accordingly Assist in preparing tender packages, when required Bid envelope labels, required printing, laminating, binding

Education:

Diploma in Business Administration or a related field of study. Equivalent level of work experience will be considered.

Experience:

2-5 years' experience in an administrative role and/or corporate office environment.
