Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and ensure a smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills,

excellent communication abilities

, and considerable experience in administrative and clerical functions. A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology would be an asset. This role requires a versatile individual capable of managing front desk responsibilities, supervising staff, handling human resources tasks, and maintaining efficient office procedures to support overall business objectives.

Duties



Manage front desk operations and greet clients with a warm, professional demeanour. Fostering a team environment. Oversee human resources, manage employee records, and liaise with external services such as property managers, computer consultants, and other service companies Handle administrative tasks such as communication with professional referral sources and clients, file creation and management, and scheduling appointments and office space Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained; contribute to office environment upkeep, coordinate vendor relationships for necessary services Implement organizational systems to improve efficiency Develop and enforce office policies to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements

Experience



Proven demonstrated team management skills Proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable accounting software for payroll and bookkeeping cross-training Extensive office experience, including front desk operations, clerical duties, and administrative support Strong communication skills with the ability to handle multi-disciplinary systems professionally Experience in human resources functions such as hiring, training, and employee relations Excellent business communications ability and organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, record keeping, and workflow management Superior computer skills in Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and the ability to learn and become familiar with client management programs. Knowledge of Jane is an asset Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
