Office Administrator - Part-Time (Calgary, AB)



Remediclean, a locally owned abatement company, is seeking a highly organizedOffice Administrator to handle day-to-day daily office operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth workflows and a professional office experience for staff, clients, and visitors.

Position



This part-time, permanent role involves handling office administration, bookkeeping, and HR support. The role requires someone reliable, tech-savvy, and experienced in handling confidential information and financial workflows, with prior experience in construction, abatement, environmental, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities



Handle daily office operations, including answering phones, managing email correspondence, scheduling, and filing. Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow management, and government compliance with industry regulations. Support HR functions such as payroll processing, onboarding, and maintaining employee records. Manage vendor relationships, purchase orders, and office expenses.

Mandatory Requirements



Minimum 1 year office administration experience in construction, abatement, environmental, or related industries. Proficient in QuickBooks (payroll, AP/AR) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint). Knowledge of government filings and compliance requirements. Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask and work independently. Professional, reliable, and capable of handling confidential information. Clean criminal record and driver's abstract. Must reliably commute to Calgary office.

Hours & Compensation



Part-time to start (~30 hours/week), with potential to increase. Compensation based on experience. Two weeks' paid vacation. On-site parking and company events.
