(Arlington Realty) is a privately held and established property management company that exclusively provides real estate management services to the Next Generation Commercial Group (Next Generation). Please visit https://www.newarlingtonrealty.ca/for more information. Arlington Realty is seeking an enthusiastic Office Administrator to fill an entry-level position within our team. This position provides an overall support to the accounting department, management and staff. The ideal candidate will be in charge of the organization and efficiency of daily office operations. From interacting with tenants and suppliers, to communicating between departments, you will be responsible for completing multi-level tasks in a professional and timely manner. Responsibilities:
  • Act as first point of contact for inquiries from tenants and suppliers etc.
  • Manage the reception area and staff to ensure effective communication both internally and externally
  • Provide clients with information or direct them to the appropriate individual.
  • Accounting data entry including accounts receivable and/or accounts payable
  • Maintain various accounting related spreadsheets
  • Various office admin duties such as copying, filing, letter and email correspondence, stationary and supplies ordering
  • Act as a liaison for utility and other accounts
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, faxes and courier packages
  • Additional duties as required from management
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work
  • Strong problem-solving organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and to work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Experience as an administrative assistant role is an asset but not required
  • Experience in accounting data entry is an asset but not required
  • Reliable transportation required for bank deposits.
Our office is located in North Calgary. This position is 5 days a week, 8.5 hours per day and will require a 3 month probationary period. Benefits available after 3 months of employment. Remuneration commiserate on experience, this position ranges from $36,000 to $39,000 per annum. Qualified applicants please include salary expectations, a cover letter and a resume.
