Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative, clerical, and communication skills, with experience in an office setting. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining efficient workflows, and supporting various departments within the organization. The Office Administrator will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, and assisting with human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities



Respond to telephone and email inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. Manage office email correspondence, including drafting routine communications, and responding to vendor/employee inquiries. Schedule and coordinate meetings, training workshops, and other arrangements for staff as needed. Maintain and update office records, files, and databases--both electronic and paper-based--ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Monitor and order office supplies, keeping inventory up to date and liaising with suppliers as necessary. Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations and other documents using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, BuilderTrend, SiteDocs). Support basic accounting tasks such as processing invoices and running reports. Assist with onboarding new employees, maintaining employee documentation, and supporting HR-related tasks such as attendance tracking.

Qualifications and Skills



Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Experience working with BuilderTrend and SiteDocs considered an asset. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Professional, friendly, and adaptable attitude with a commitment to confidentiality and discretion. Prior office experience including clerical or administrative roles is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
