SPECTRA HI-Tech Anodizing is an ISO full service aluminum parts supplier with 5 manufacturing facilities in Ontario, Head Offices in Bradford, and due to a new manufacturing facility opening in Bradford and promotions from within Spectra,

We have opportunity at our:

Bradford Facility For Off Shift Electrician

The candidate will be tasked troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical issues. In addition you will also work on new equipment installs and tear-down/re-build jobs. An ideal candidate will have a strong problem solving ability, mechanical aptitude and the ability to excel in a time-sensitive environment. You will be trained on all necessary aspects of the job.

Troubleshoot and isolate faults Install, replace, and repair electrical controls and panel boxes Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits, splice join and connect wires Perform service work on existing equipment including teardowns and rebuilding Travel to other Spectra plants as required to perform PM and work on projects Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Skill Development

Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical equipment Basic electrical drawings Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures Ability to operate various power tools to assemble, cut, and sand components Keen attention to detail and tidiness Examine end product to ensure it meets quality standards and is aesthetically
