The role of Clerk in the Off Sale is to maintain a strong relationship with our guests, employees and hotel management. To ensure that our guests receive professional, courteous, friendly and efficient service. Customer "Experience" will always be a focus, through anticipating the guest's needs via sight, sound, feel, touch and taste during roles such as service, the arrival process, and other guest services required.
the position requires to work weekends, late night and holidays shifts. Must have reliable transportation.
Duties and Responsibilities
The employee greets guests to the store in a friendly manner. Always ask for ID under 32.
The clerk is responsible for the customer`s needs which normally will include suggestions regarding specials for beverages including wines and Top Shelf items as well as upselling customers to increase sales and ensures the needs of the customer are met in an expedient manner.
The employee is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of their work areas as well as furnishings, woodwork, glass such as windows, doors and mirrors. Also Basic housekeeping of the store and coolers.
Rotation of stock and refilling when required having all products properly fronted.
Assist guests with general questions and enquiries
Answering phones and transferring calls
Knowledge about the policies and procedures for completing cash outs for your deposits as determined by accounting.
Responsible for the cash and security of the store.
Communication as required to fulfill duties on a timely basis
Any other requests made by Hotel/ Pub Management
Doing inventory and restocking merchandise
Packaging or bagging products for customers
