We are hiring for an OFA3 + Camp Cook position. PLEASE SEE COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION BELOW Hours of work: Fulltime, seasonal. Start date: End of May Deadline for Applications: May 25, 2023 Purpose and Key Focus Responsibilities include the use of skills and expertise to provide emergency response, medical assessment, primary health care, injury prevention, and coordinate emergency medical evacuations as needed. You will exercise independence, judgment and initiative by logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems that arise on site. Key Responsibilities: Experience in cooking for large numbers

• Current Cook Trade Certification and/or Canada Food Safe Certificate
• Experience in cooking for special populations and special diets
• Assess the extent of injuries or illness to determine the course of medical treatment.
• Document and record the nature of injuries and treatment provided.
• Maintain, disinfect and re-stock the MTC.
• Perform unit and site inspections in compliance with Infinity Industrial health and safety plan.

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner.
• With safety being our top priority, strict adherence to Infinity's Zero-Tolerance Policy towards drugs and alcohol is a condition of employment.
• Following Public Health requirements in BC, adherence to COVID protocols is a condition of employment.
• Responsible to ensure that grocery costs are kept at a minimum ($7/camper/day is optimum)
• Ensure that meals and snacks are ready on time
• Ensure that meals and snacks are ready on time
• Responsible to ensure that BC Health Standards are being met and liaise with the local Health Inspector when required
• Overall operation, maintenance and cleanliness of the camp kitchen throughout the summer
• Baking of snacks, etc. when time allows to assist in keeping costs down
• Other duties as required

Education & Experience

• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with little supervision and the ability to take initiative
• Proof of Current OFA Level 3 Certificate
• Proof of Food Safe

Contract length: 5 months Salary: $28.00-$33.00 per hour Benefits:
