Job Description

As an OEM Partnership Engagement Consultant at SITECH Eastern Canada, your primary responsibility is to cultivate, strengthen, and expand strategic relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Your goal is to drive increased sales of Trimble products, grow market share, and enhance awareness of Trimble Construction Technology Solutions. This role is central to our growth strategy and reports directly to the Sales Manager.

You will lead efforts in identifying new opportunities, negotiating agreements, and ensuring seamless collaboration between Trimble, OEMs, and SITECH. Significant in-territory travel is required, including multiple overnight stays per month.

Key Responsibilities:




Strategic Planning & Relationship Management




Develop and implement strategies to expand OEM partnerships. Convince OEM dealers of the value in partnering with SITECH. Build short- and long-term strategies to compete in evolving markets. Serve as the primary contact for OEM partners, ensuring clear communication across Sales, Support, Training, and Marketing. Establish governance structures and operating procedures aligned with SITECH's goals.

Sales & Business Development




Design and manage incentive programs to drive OEM sales. Leverage rental strategies to promote product adoption. Collaborate with internal teams to execute quotes and deals. Standardize sales programs, discount structures, and promotions. Set and manage realistic revenue forecasts and performance targets.

Support, Training & Enablement




Provide OEMs with clear access to SITECH resources and contacts. Coordinate and conduct training for OEM sales personnel and SITECH staff on OEM equipment. Promote SITECH-led events to OEM networks and run special programs tied to event-based sales. Offer OEM dealers access to exclusive technology suites. Coach and develop high-performing sales employees.

Marketing & Engagement




Execute targeted marketing initiatives for OEMs. Maintain strong OEM relationships through regular visits and participation in partner/customer events. Extend Trimble promotional programs to qualifying OEMs. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy. Maintain close communication with manufacturer sales managers.

Performance Tracking & Reporting




Track pipeline and closed deals involving non-CAT machines. Monitor OEM dealer engagement and customer acquisition. Measure OEM rental activity and dealer collaboration. Deliver accurate reports and forecasts to Sales and General Managers.

Qualifications




Minimum 5 years of experience in conceptual/technical sales. Sales management or project management experience is an asset. Knowledge of the construction industry and Trimble products (preferably via dealership or SITECH experience). Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, GIS, Construction, related field (or equivalent experience).
