Overview

Seeking a OTA to work with a child on daily basis Approximately 1 hour everyday.

Responsibilities

Assist occupational therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult populations. Monitor and document patient progress, noting responses to therapy interventions. Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities to promote independence. Support the development of adaptive techniques and assistive devices tailored to patient needs. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans effectively.

Skills

Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practice. Experience working in acute care settings is preferred, with the ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments. Pediatric experience is advantageous, demonstrating comfort working with children of diverse needs. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care and rehabilitation goals. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in dynamic healthcare environments.
