Occupational Therapist (Hybrid Remote/In-Person) - 1.0 EFT Term until March 31, 2026 with possibility to extend.



Children's Therapy Collective is currently seeking

a passionate Occupational Therapist

to join our team on a full-time basis (~37.5 hours/week) from now until March 31, 2026 with possibility for extension.

Children's Therapy Collective is a multidisciplinary practice offering Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Physiotherapy, Tutoring, and Counselling services to children and youth. Our practice is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and offers services throughout Manitoba and western Ontario.

We are looking for a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our group of caring, skilled, and dynamic clinicians. This position is based 50% in Fort Frances, Ontario, servicing First Nations communities in the surrounding areas, and 50% working remotely from home.

Provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services to children and youth, including assessment, intervention, and monitoring in one on one and in group settings. Support children aged 0-18 in all of their environments, including home, school, daycare, and others. Independently schedule all appointments and visits. Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation, including chart notes, assessment reports, and progress reports. Collaboration with other clinicians to ensure the best possible service delivery to clients and their families. Design and delivery of professional development sessions for those supporting children in the communities. Practice in a manner that meets and/or exceeds the standard set out by the College of Occupational Therapists. Experience providing Occupational Therapy services to children ages 0-18 an asset. However, experience providing services to any age group of children will be considered. Master of Occupational Therapy degree & registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, or eligibility to become registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Familiarity with common childhood diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Coordination Disorder, etc. Proficiency with computer applications such as Word, PowerPoint, etc., and familiarity with e-charting systems. Supportive and collaborative work environment. Supervision will be provided. Option for dental/medical benefits. Professional licensing fees are covered while working in this role. Meal allowances and accommodations included when in Fort Frances. Mileage provided for driving to and from Fort Frances.
