What We're Looking For:
Graduation from a recognized university program in Occupational Therapy
Current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as an Occupational Therapist
Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT)
Valid BC Driver's License may be required for some positions
About Cowichan District Hospital
Cowichan District Hospital has been proudly serving the Cowichan Valley for over 50 years as part of the Island Health network. The new hospital, opening in 2027, will enhance capacity, streamline patient care, and feature sustainable, modern design - becoming B.C.'s first fully electric hospital, built to LEED Gold standards.
The design incorporates input from staff, patients, and Indigenous partners to create a healing environment that fosters well-being and strengthens connections to nature. The Cowichan Valley offers a variety of welcoming communities from charming seaside villages to vibrant town centres, all within easy reach of Duncan.
