We have a relief part-time (0.50 FTE) Occupational Therapist opening in Kimberley's Primary Care. This position's schedule is Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

About the position:

This position is in Primary Care providing service to patients with occupational therapy needs in the community. The Occupational Therapist plays a key role in providing assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education to patients and/or their caregivers. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, you make a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.

Primary Care Centres are community-based networks of health care professionals and clinics who plan and deliver all day-to-day health care needs of a community. Within these networks teams of providers work together closely. In this is way, patients receive better care, by the right person, at the right time, closer to home.

Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program. Full practicing registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. * Valid BC Driver's license.
