Sahara Rehab Consulting is an OT-led company, so all your supervisors would be Occupational Therapists.

About Us:

We support and assist individuals with various medical conditions and disabilities. Rehabilitation services are provided to clients in their homes, community centers, and /or their respective workplaces. All OT charting and paperwork are completed from your own home office in our EMR. All OTs are supported by our team members as needed while managing their caseloads.

About You:

Sahara Rehab is looking for an experienced

community-based OT

who resides either in the Metro-Vancouver or Fraser Valley areas to serve our clients who reside in both these areas.

You have the passion to contribute and enable clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

Exceptional delivery of occupational services by conducting assessments and providing interventions focusing on daily functioning, cognition, transfers, mobility, and education on the proper use of assistive devices.

Note:

Candidates with a minimum of one years of clinical work experience as an Occupational Therapist in the public or private sector are preferred.

Requirements:

A Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) Required to have access to a vehicle with a valid BC driver's license as travel within the entire Metro Vancouver Regional Area will be required. A self-starter who is comfortable working remotely and independently. Must reside in the Metro Vancouver or Fraser Valley areas of BC.
This position is full-time and based on a 12-month independent contract.

Compensation:

An excellent hourly rate that will be above the average hourly market rate and will be determined by your level of OT experience and skill set. There are incentives for those who successfully sign on as a Contractor for a minimum of 2 years with Sahara Rehab.
