Right now, we're looking for an

experienced Occupational Therapist

to join our Oakville team.

Canoe Therapy is an interdisciplinary pediatric therapy team offering Speech-Language Pathology, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and Behaviour Therapy. We take a holistic approach, considering the child and family as a whole and collaborating closely with their wider support network.

The Ideal Candidate Has:

Current registration with the

College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario

1-3 years of pediatric experience

Experience working with

children with Autism

Training in

feeding

and

handwriting

Prior experience in

private practice

Post-graduate certificates or training in two or more of the following (or similar): Ayres Sensory Integration Therapeutic Listening Astronaut Training Alert Program NDT (Neurodevelopmental Training) CO-OP (Cognitive Orientation to Occupational Performance) Orthopedic conditions Neuro-motor / neuro-developmental conditions Genetic conditions Global Developmental Delay Down Syndrome Primitive Reflex Integration Visual-motor skills assessment and treatment

About the Role

This role involves hands-on assessment, consultation, and treatment of children from birth to young adults, across all diagnoses -- including children without a formal diagnosis.
While services are primarily clinic-based, sessions may also be delivered in home, school, or community settings.

Pay: From $80.00 per hour
