In this role, the Occupational Therapist (OT) will provide services across any of our three locations. The OT will work closely with care teams to deliver high-quality patient care. While there is no set commitment regarding a specific number of hours, it is expected that the OT will maintain sufficient availability to uphold an active employment relationship and ensure that their knowledge and skills remain current.

• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Member of the Canadian Occupational Therapy Association or Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists preferred
• Experience working with neurological conditions required
• Cognitive/perceptual assessment and treatment skills
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience working with patients in an acute inpatient setting
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience working with patients in a post-acute setting
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in cognitive assessments and cognitive remediation/compensatory strategies
• Knowledge and experience in the use of outcome measures
• Must be flexible and demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with all team members
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational abilities with proven time management skills
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record required

Additional Information
Hours: Monday-Sunday, various rotating 7.5 hour shifts, 0800-1600 (hours subject to change based on operational requirements)
Salary: $38.846 to $54.782 per hour
