Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Occupational Therapist

to join our dynamic team specializing in pediatric and school-age services. The successful candidate will be a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, providing support in areas such as:

Executive Function Skills:

Planning, organization, attention, and problem-solving.

Emotional and Sensory Regulation:

Managing emotions, sensory processing, and self-regulation.

Daily Living Skills:

Dressing, feeding, toileting, and other essential life skills.

Responsibilities



Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's occupational performance, including their strengths and areas of need. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address identified goals and objectives. Provide direct, child-centered therapy sessions that are engaging, motivating, and tailored to the individual child's needs and preferences. Collaboratively work with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and reports. Effectively communicate with families and other professionals regarding treatment progress, recommendations, and concerns. Adhere to all relevant safety and regulatory standards. Travel to various locations, including schools and homes, to provide therapy services and conduct assessments.

Qualifications



Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university. Current and valid registration with the relevant provincial/territorial regulatory body. Proven experience working with children with diverse needs, including those with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention planning, and treatment implementation. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Experience with writing comprehensive evaluation reports and developing effective treatment plans. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $100.00-$115.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
