Occupational Therapist New Graduate Opportunity

Toronto, ON, CA, Canada

Job Description

At The Red Oak Centre, we believe children, teens, and families thrive when they feel understood, capable, and cared for. Since 2016, we've been a soft place to land - a multidisciplinary clinic where occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, and educators work together to provide integrated, values-driven care.

We know stepping into pediatric practice as a new graduate can feel overwhelming. That's why we've designed this role with scaffolded learning, one-to-one mentorship, and step-by-step growth, so you can gradually build the confidence and expertise needed for independent practice while feeling fully supported.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

A soft place to land - a warm, welcoming clinic designed to support children, families, and the therapists who care for them.

Structured mentorship - one-to-one guidance, shadowing, and scaffolded development so you can grow with confidence.

Collaboration - join an expert multidisciplinary team where OT, SLP, psychology, and education truly integrate.

Continuous learning - workshops, case reviews, and school collaborations to deepen your clinical skills.

Values-driven culture - rooted in excellence, professionalism, collaboration, and warmth.

What You'll Do:

Provide evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and adolescents and their parents Support children with ADHD, autism, anxiety, sensory processing challenges, and motor development needs Collaborate with families and professionals across disciplines to deliver integrated, client-centred care Engage in mentorship and reflective practice as you grow into independent clinical work

What Makes You a Great Fit:

Master's in Occupational Therapy. Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (or eligibility). Proof of professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain). Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Interest in pediatric practice, with motivation to build expertise in self-regulation, sensory processing, and motor development. Collaborative spirit, openness to feedback, and eagerness to learn. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Pediatric experience is an asset, but not required - this role is built to support new grads through structured mentorship.
