Description


We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treating adult patients with driving anxiety due to car accidents and PTSD, as well as cognitive impairments affecting their ability to think, learn, remember, use judgment, and make decisions. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with patients to develop tailored therapy plans that address their specific needs and goals, fostering an environment of support and growth.

Duties



Assessment and Evaluation:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' cognitive and functional abilities, including their capacity to drive safely, manage daily activities, and cope with anxiety and PTSD symptoms.

Treatment Planning:

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that address driving anxiety, cognitive impairments, and other related issues. Set realistic and measurable goals in collaboration with patients.

Education and Support:

Educate patients and their families about cognitive and emotional strategies, adaptive techniques, and coping mechanisms. Offer support and guidance to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Skills


Strong clinical skills in cognitive and functional assessment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
