Key Responsibilities



Conduct thorough assessments to understand each child's unique needs and challenges. Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to enhance children's sensory processing, self-help skills, motor skills, and overall independence. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, behavior consultants and educators to provide holistic support. Provide guidance and education to families, empowering them with tools and techniques for fostering positive development at home. Contribute to a positive and inclusive environment that nurtures children's confidence and self-esteem.

Required Qualifications:



Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) Standard First Aid with level C CPR ( Also called Intermediate First Aid) Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team Ability to think outside the box to personalize services to each family's unique needs Passion for making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families
