Location:

2 days working from Lifemark Father David Bauer Arena (2424 University Drive NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 3Y9) and 3 days virtual support for Lifemark Physiotherapy Nature Park Way, Winnipeg.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Mandatory requirements:

Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists

Your Day-to-Day





Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities within a clinic setting. Assessments may include job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, cognitive abilities evaluations, ergonomic and attendant care assessments, and pre-employment screenings. Identify and address barriers to participation in activities of daily living (ADLs/IADLs), community involvement, family roles, and vocational/avocational pursuits. Interventions may include education, behavioral activation, goal setting, activity planning, and pacing strategies. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based practices. Educate clients on topics such as safe body mechanics, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and building functional tolerance. Support return-to-work programs, including job coaching and accommodation recommendations. Document care accurately and efficiently using e-charting software and prepare timely reports for stakeholders.
Participate actively in case management and case conferences, ensuring collaborative care and continuity of services. Work closely with inter-professional teams within the clinic to deliver coordinated, client-centered care. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to promote and expand awareness of Lifemark's Occupational Therapy programs. Manage a diverse caseload in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment.

What You Bring to the Team:





Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions Ability to be autonomous; working both independently and as part of the team Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long term disability, and WSIB referrals is a strong asset Experience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong asset A valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle
