Sahaara Therapy Services is a community-based private therapy practice serving Calgary and surrounding areas. We work with families and their children (ages 2-18) to help them learn and implement individualized strategies and solutions to achieve their goals.

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an energetic individual with a passion for working with children to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work both in-home settings and school programming. The candidate will be offered competitive compensation, ability to set a flexible schedule and work from home as well as a focus on mentorship and growth in the area of pediatric occupational therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to families and schools with a focus on maximizing a child's function in the areas of self-care, productivity (school and play skills) and leisure (community participation); Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support targeted and individualized goals; Manage a diverse caseload while ensuring all hour tracking, documentation, and filing is appropriately completed.
Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent from an accredited University program; Registered and in good standing with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT); Possesses professional liability insurance; Valid driver's license and access to a reliable mode of transportation to travel within Calgary and surrounding areas; Vulnerable Sector police check.
