We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in home care services providing therapeutic interventions to help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. The Occupational Therapist Assistant will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalized care tailored to each patient's needs.

Responsibilities

Develop individualized treatment sessions aimed at improving daily living skills and functional independence. Implement therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices home care . Monitor patient progress and treatment accordingly to Occupational Therapist . Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety precautions. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Valid state licensure for Occupational Therapy Assistant Experience working in acute care settings or pediatrics is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapy practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate approach with a commitment to patient-centered care. Ability to adapt treatment strategies based on individual patient needs and progress. This role is essential for helping patients achieve their highest potential through specialized occupational therapy services, making a meaningful difference in their recovery journey.
