Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with patients to help them achieve independence in their daily activities through therapeutic interventions. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience in acute care settings, particularly with pediatric patients.

Duties

Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities following OT plans specific for each client. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercises. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy assistant and relevant medical terminology. Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.

Requirements

Bachelor in Occupational therapy is required Experience in acute care settings is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology is essential. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy. Fluency in Spanish .
