About Aim Pediatric Therapy
Aim Pediatric Therapy is a multidisciplinary pediatric centre providing evidence-based, child-centred services in a collaborative and supportive environment. We specialize in early intervention and support children with diverse developmental needs through play-based, functional, and family-focused approaches.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a
dedicated and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
to join our team.
Role Overview
The OTA will work under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist to support the implementation of individualized treatment plans for children. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about pediatric therapy, enjoys hands-on work, and values teamwork and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
Implement OT treatment plans designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
Support children in developing fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional skills
Prepare therapy materials and set up engaging, goal-directed activities
Collect session data and provide feedback to the supervising OT
Support carryover of skills in a natural, play-based environment
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy space
Communicate professionally with team members and families as required
Qualifications
Diploma or degree from an accredited
Occupational Therapy Assistant / OTA / OTA-PTA program
Experience working with children (pediatric experience preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to follow treatment plans and accept feedback
Organized, reliable, and professional
Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred (but not required)
Experience in pediatric clinics, early intervention, or school settings
Familiarity with sensory integration and play-based therapy approaches
Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team
