With a strong dedication to excellence and a client-centric approach, we aim to promote a culture of safety and compliance within the industry. : We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced OHS Advisor to join our team and oversee the operations at our PEI location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the operation, leading a team of dedicated professionals, and playing a pivotal role in managing various OHS programs. This position requires a hands-on approach, including active involvement in the field on different job sites. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the PEI location, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of OHS professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Implement and maintain OHS programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the consultancy\'s reach and enhance its service offerings.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and the consultancy, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and fostering strong, long-lasting relationships.
• Identify and address any operational challenges, proactively implementing solutions to drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor industry trends and developments, incorporating best practices into the consultancy\'s operations and services.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in a managerial role within the Occupational Health and Safety industry.
• In-depth knowledge of OHS regulations and compliance standards in Prince Edward Island.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and executing OHS programs and initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively train and educate employees on safety procedures
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify potential hazards and develop effective solutions
• Attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety regulations and accurately document incidents
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve safety goals

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay
