Tasks

Assign projects to subordinates and staff related to work safety, environmental safety and accident prevention. Review HR directives to assure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations Establish and implement policies and procedures Inspect spills of hazardous chemicals or products Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards Investigate workplace accidents or illnesses Develop and implement health and safety plans Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
