School Overview: Junior Academy

Our teachers work together to ensure that all children-from gifted students to average learners to those needing more support-are taught in ways that enable them to succeed. This flexibility in determining what works best for each student is admired and appreciated by our parents.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Following daily lesson plans left by the teaching staff.

Teaching a full range of subject areas including Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and Mathematics, Physical Education and Technology.

Following teaching parameters indicated in student IEPs.

Maintaining productive working habits and discipline in the classroom.

Supervising students throughout the day, both in the classroom and outside during breaks.

Recording students' educational progress throughout the day.

Leaving communication for the homeroom teacher regarding the day.

Salary: Daily Supply Rate is $200.00 for a full day.
