We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised Sales Coordinator to join our successful Open Access commercial team. This is an opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic sales team by working collaboratively with internal teams to help the implementation of Open Access agreements, including transformative agreements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a passion for connecting with customers to help develop collaborative partnerships.

Responding to customer queries via outlook and Salesforce: troubleshooting situations when needed

Implementing new Open Access agreements, including internal and external communication and planning across a variety of different business models

Gathering customer data including publication data and metrics to analyse performance

Managing library and author workflows including investigating and implementing process improvements

Developing and presenting training to other team members

Hosting external customer training and communication

Sharing customer feedback with internal teams to inform system and process improvement

Generating reports to support sales managers in analysing account performance

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Confident in training and coaching others
  • Experience with salesforce
  • Understanding of Open Access publishing
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Computer literate and be a competent user of Microsoft office
  • Confident working under your own initiative and prioritising your time
  • Can work to deadlines effectively and able to multitask

  • Demonstrate initiative and be self-starting
