What you'll do

Assist in patient care by performing basic life support and monitoring vital signs. Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations to gather important health information. Support patients with catheter care, including Foley catheter management and tube feeding. Document patient records accurately and review documentation for compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans. Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures such as IV insertion and medication administration. Observe patients closely, noting any changes in condition or behavior for timely reporting. Engage in continuous learning about anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance your clinical knowledge.

Basic qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program or equivalent training.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with patient service or healthcare settings. Familiarity with medical records management and documentation practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Pay: $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Work Location: On the road
