Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Nursery Worker to join our team for the Fall. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of plants in our nursery, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a willingness to engage in physical labor, including heavy lifting.

Duties

Perform daily maintenance tasks such as pruning according to specific needs and weather conditions. Utilize hand tools for planting, and general maintenance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery area, including storage of tools and materials. Engage in heavy lifting as required for moving plants, soil, and equipment. Collaborate with team members to achieve nursery goals and maintain high standards of plant care.

Requirements

Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis. Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in gardening and nursery work. A strong work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to quality plant care. Previous experience in horticulture is preferred but not mandatory.
