Job Title: Nurse PractitionerLocation: St. John\xe2\x80\x99s, NewfoundlandJob Type: Full-Time PermanentWe are searching for a Nurse Practitioner to join an organization dedicated to providing exemplary patient care for military veterans. The successful candidate will provide assessment and care to clinic patients, including utilizing shockwave therapy services to treat patients with erectile dysfunction. Training on equipment usage will be provided.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver high quality care by assessing, screening, prescribing, and providing therapeutic care for patients as necessary.
- Uphold clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care.
- Provide clinical care for patients with erectile dysfunction including shockwave therapy, a non-invasive treatment creating a series of low energy acoustic wave pulsations through the patient\xe2\x80\x99s skin.
- Current certificate of registration as a nurse practitioner in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses Newfoundland Labrador (CRNNL)
- Basic Life Support certification is required
- Master of Science (Nursing) or a Masters in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Ability to conduct clients\xe2\x80\x99 interviews and examinations, develop and implement client-centered treatment plans, while integrating evidence-based health promotion practices
