Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate

Nurse Practitioner (NP)

to join our team at a busy walk-in clinic and family practice. The ideal candidate will support the physician by providing high-quality care and handling a wide range of clinical and administrative duties, including:

Responsibilities



Performing

wart freezing treatments

(cryotherapy)

Refilling routine prescriptions

and managing medication renewals under delegated protocols Conducting

prenatal follow-ups

,

Pap tests

, and other women's health assessments Completing

periodic health assessments

and preventive care visits Administering a variety of

injections

, including: Vitamin B12 Prolia Subcutaneous allergy shots Routine

vaccinations

TB skin testing

Assisting with

medical documentation and paperwork

, such as: ADL forms HSR reports Disability Tax Credit (DTC) forms Letters and insurance forms Attending Physician Statements Preoperative and pre-dental procedure assessments Managing the

electronic inbox

and addressing lab results, consultation reports, and patient inquiries Performing

wound dressings

, including assessment and application of appropriate materials Conducting

ear flushes

for wax removal and otologic care Supporting

patient file updates

and EMR documentation Assisting with

OHIP billing

entries and ensuring billing accuracy

Skills



Strong clinical skills in hospital settings, medical offices, and assisted living environments. Proficient in pediatrics with the ability to manage pediatric cases effectively. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety practices. Experience in case management to facilitate comprehensive patient care. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and interpreting lab results. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving health outcomes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60.00-$75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week
