What You'll Do
Provide injectable treatments (e.g., neuromodulators, dermal fillers) within your scope of practice and experience level.
Lead or support local clinical care teams, depending on your role and interest.
Collaborate with the CMO to uphold clinical standards and innovate patient care strategies.
Build trusting relationships with patients through thorough consultations, education, and follow-up.
Participate in protocol development, outcome monitoring, and contribute to our evolving best practices.
JOB SUMMARY
The Nurse Practitioner at Bios Wellness Clinics provides comprehensive, patient-centered care through detailed health assessments, accurate diagnoses, and the development of individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines. This role involves prescribing medications, promoting wellness, and educating patients while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality care. The Nurse Practitioner is committed to continuous professional development, empowering patients in their healthcare journeys and advocating for their needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Assessment and Diagnosis
Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including thorough physical examinations and health history reviews.
Order, perform, and interpret necessary diagnostic tests and laboratory investigations.
Clinical Care
Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans that reflect current evidence-based guidelines.
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNP) regulations.
Provide preventive care and health education, promoting wellness and chronic disease management.
Work in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer to create and enforce clinical protocols, policies, and procedures tailored to aesthetic treatments.
Patient Management
Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize health outcomes.
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and support services.
Communication and Collaboration
Establish and nurture professional relationships with patients and their families, fostering trust and effective communication.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Documentation and Compliance
Maintain accurate and complete medical records that comply with regulatory standards and (BCCNP) guidelines.
Ensure thorough documentation for billing and insurance purposes, adhering to established protocols.
Continuous Learning and Professional Development
Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to remain current with best practices in nursing and healthcare.
Participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Patient Education
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
Advocate for patients' rights and needs, providing support in navigating the healthcare system.
All other related reasonable duties and responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Are a licensed nurse practitioner in good standing in Saskatchewan.
Are passionate about aesthetics, wellness, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Have 2+ years of aesthetic experience--or are excited to grow with our support.
