Nurse Practitioner

SALARY:

$66.55/ hr

STATUS:

Full Time - 6 month Contract

HOURS OF WORK:

37.5 hours per week

LOCATION:

Home office is Mallorytown with travel to Brockville

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Weekdays and some evenings

REPORTS TO:

Executive Director/Program Manager

Summary of Job:

The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the Allied Health Professionals and provide comprehensive primary care services including health promotion, disease, and injury prevention, treatment, cure, rehabilitation and support for patients.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Current registration and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Strong computer skills Ability to work well independently Good organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Experience working in a community setting Experience working with individuals with complex needs Ability and desire to work within an interdisciplinary team Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity, whether related to race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check required Valid driver's license with $2 million vehicle liability insurance
