Nurse Practitioner Job Posting

Bring your knowledge and clinical expertise to provide primary care services in the role of Nurse Practitioner

Clinic is located in Bowmanville. Great location for a small town primary care clinic while being within striking distance of Toronto and GTA.

Independently work side by side sharing patient care with a local family physician.

Primary Care physician has experience working with NP's and embraces the opportunity to support one another.

Clinical settings include the office as well as retirement homes in Durham region.

Ideally looking for 3 days per week but position is flexible. Possibility of scaling up further work if required. Also, if desired, weekend clinic time available (but certainly not required or expected).

Clinic in process of rolling out AI Scribe technology to aid with note keeping.

Applicant Requirements

Registered Nurse Extended Class (Nurse Practitioner) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Specialty Certificate in Primary Care

Experience providing primary care from cradle to grave

Experience with Telus PSSuite an asset

You can clearly communicate care and progress through documentation, including progress notes, written treatment plans and clinical summaries

Experience and knowledge applying current preventative care guidelines to a diverse patient population

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00-$85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 27 per week

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends
