Nurse Dental
Job Description
1. Provides safe care and treatment for Recovery Room patients before, during and after surgery.
2. Ensures that a safe environment is maintained for the patient.
3. Adheres to the standards set out by the College of Nurses of Ontario and the Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada.
4. Demonstrates a caring and empathetic approach to patients at all times.
5. Communicates vital information with other members of the OR team and physician.
6. Prepares equipment for surgical procedures and supports surgical procedures.
7. Plans nursing care in accordance with the patient's needs.
8. Provides health teaching to patients to support their recovery at home.
9. Keeps patient information confidential in accordance with legislation.
10. Medication inventory
11. Admin duties as required
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS
Job Type: Casual
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
