We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced

Registered Nurse

to join our

oral surgery team and assist with

IV sedation

Schedule:




Part-time/Causal


4 - 5 shifts per month, shifts are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

The

wage range is from $50 to $55 per hour

depending on experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate's work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:



Preparation of equipment and medications for surgical procedures Review patient history and conduct pre-operatory assessment Continuous patient care during sedation while monitoring vital signs and assisting as required Post-operative patient care in preparation for discharge Complete all necessary documentation for patient records

About You:



Must be licensed as a Registered Nursed in accordance with the provincial guidelines Must have CPR, PALS, and ACLS Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to take initiative, work independently and work effectively in a team environment Previous experience in oral surgery, emergency room, ICU, PACU or critical care is an asset Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
