Job Description

This position is responsible for clinical leadership and acts as a clinical resource to other healthcare professionals in area of expertise. The Nurse Clinician has an established knowledge and experiential base in their area of expertise. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the UNA Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) is required. Certification as required within the scope of the role.

Additional Required Qualifications:

1-2 years current experience related to ostomy, wound and skin care and pressure ulcer prevention. 3-5 years in acute surgery or medicine. Registration with NSWOCC - Nurses Specializing in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada. Motivated and Self-Directed.
