CHL is seeking highly skilled CCFP-certified physicians for locum summer deployment to Inuvik and Yellowknife NWT.

AREAS OF SPECIALTY:
- GP-ER
- GP-Obstetrics
- GP-Anesthesia
- GP-Enhanced Surgical Skills/Obstetrical Surgical Skills + C-sections
CCFP-certified, Independent Practice Registration with the Regulatory College in Canada, unrestricted licence that allows the physician to fulfil the requirements of this position.
Fellowship in Emergency Medicine through the CFPC (Family Medicine route) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC). Candidates with extensive experience in high volume and high acuity will also be considered.
Experience:
EM Trained/Specialty \xe2\x80\x93 New Grads welcome
Non-EM trained \xe2\x80\x93 Minimum of 5 years in high volume/high acuity setting
CURRENT POSITION: Emergency Room Physician
CURRENT LOCATION: Yellowknife and Inuvik, Northwest Territories
Competencies: ACLS, PALS and ATLS certification- Demonstrate competency in resuscitation principles. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the CCFP designation
OTHER: Demonstrate commitment to continued professional and personal growth and development through Continuing Education Programs and Self-Directed Learning opportunities
