Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our North Indian street food truck in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food, and extensive experience in food preparation and kitchen management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase creativity, oversee food service operations, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with attention to presentation, taste, and quality standards Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations Manage food inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen environment Develop new menu items and improve existing recipes to enhance customer satisfaction Monitor food costs and optimize kitchen operations for efficiency Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations within the food industry

Qualifications

Proven experience in North indian restaurant management or as a chef, with supervising experience preferred Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques Excellent team management and leadership skills to motivate staff effectively Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated skills in food industry practices, kitchen experience, and serving customers Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service
