What you'll be responsible for:

Sorting different types of non-ferrous metals Using tools to cut metal Working with various types of machinery Weighing materials Maintaining site cleanliness Assisting with vehicle loading and unloading Providing excellent customer service Performing daily maintenance Carrying out general site upkeep Keeping equipment and assets in good condition Cleaning your workspace at the end of the shift

Qualifications

To join our team:

You're able to work in a noisy and dusty environment You have knowledge of metals (an asset) You're comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (mask, earplugs, helmet, gloves, etc.) You're safety-conscious and attentive to workplace health and safety You're in good physical condition You're resourceful You're meticulous and enjoy repetitive tasks You're punctual and dependable You can work well in a team environment You have experience operating a forklift (an asset) You have experience in metal recycling (an asset) You have good knowledge of metals (an asset) You're able to work outdoors in all weather conditions You're responsible and resourceful You enjoy teamwork * You're punctual and dependable
