Job Summary
The Sales Consultant is responsible for managing all aspects of the New or Used Car Sales process from the moment a customer enters the dealership to the point of sale and beyond. The Sales Consultant builds lasting relationships to create brand loyalty and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a motivated and driven sales professional who is passionate about delivering personalized experiences, achieving sales targets, and contributing to our dealership's continued success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Strong Customer Relationships
Greet customers promptly, professionally, and courteously.
Listen to customer needs, provide expert guidance, and assist in selecting an appropriate vehicle.
Build a loyal customer base through effective follow-up and relationship management.
Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and follow-ups.
Address customer inquiries and concerns with a genuine intent to resolve issues.
Conduct prospecting and follow-up calls within established timeframes.
Be Detail-Oriented
Document customer needs and expectations accurately.
Prepare for vehicle deliveries and ensure all details are completed.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely, and complete.
Review and analyze performance to improve efficiency and time management.
Commit to the Dealership Brand
Stay current on all dealership and manufacturer training programs.
Explain vehicle features, benefits, and technology with confidence.
Maintain professional appearance and uphold dealership standards.
Champion exceptional service and contribute to a positive team environment.
Develop and Maintain Product Knowledge
Keep up to date with products, accessories, pricing, and key competitive features.
Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives highlighting unique benefits.
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an engaging attitude.
Strong customer service focus with the ability to influence and build trust.
Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
Valid driver's license and ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles.
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
Valid
OMVIC License
(or provincially recognized equivalent).
Education & Experience
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
College education or relevant courses an asset.
Automotive sales experience preferred.
Available to work evening and weekend shifts as scheduled.
