Responsibilities:
Greets customers, presents menus, answers questions, offers suggestions;
Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained;
Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures;
Monitoring the restaurant's cash flow and settling outstanding bills;
Assist with other functions and tasks, as assigned by the General Manager;
Perform same duties as bartenders and servers, as required;
Liquor and beer inventory and rotation;
Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations;
Ensures day-to-day operations are consistent and corrects errors;
Expedites food during peak times;
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of servers and bartenders;
Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked;
Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
Requirements:
Experience working in a Fast-paced, noisy environment;
Team player;
Excellent oral communication and effective interpersonal skills;
Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines;
3 Years supervisory experience
