Night Shift Pipe Fabricator

Job Description
Are you seeking a role that rewards precision, craftsmanship, and innovation? We are excited to offer a night shift opportunity for a dedicated and skilled individual to become a vital part of our pipe fabrication team.
You must be competent to cut, prep and fit carbon-steel and alloy pipe spools. You will also be adept at reading fabrication drawings and doing layout.
What would you be doing?
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
- Measure, cut, gouge, and grind pipes, flanges and fittings.
- Cut Fit and Tack pipe spool segments with precision as per detailed shop drawings and shop supervisors\xe2\x80\x99 instructions.
- Gouge overlay form carbon steel for material preparation for welding in some cases.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Journeyperson or apprenticeship is an asset
- Experience and qualifications in pipe fabrication is required.
- We are also open to registered apprentices with stainless steel experience.
- Must be competent to cut, prep and fit stainless-steel pipe & fittings.
- Must be adept to reading fabrication drawings and doing lay out.
- Ability to read and understand complex instructions.
- Ability to do careful and exact work.
- Opportunity local to Edmonton area.
- Benefits after 300 hours.
- Working 4-10 scheduel with Friday-Saturday off.
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
