About the Role:

As Campground Security, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and positive experience of our guests during the evening hours. You'll be the primary point of contact for any late-night inquiries or concerns, helping to maintain a peaceful and secure environment for everyone at Shubie.

Responsibilities:

Patrol the campground regularly to ensure guest safety and adherence to campground rules. Respond to and address any disturbances, noise complaints, or rule infractions. Assist late check-in guests with finding their sites and providing necessary information. Provide exceptional customer service, answering guest questions and offering assistance as needed. Perform light cleaning duties in washroom facilities to maintain cleanliness standards. Monitor and report any suspicious activity or maintenance issues. Act as a visible and approachable presence, deterring unwanted behavior.

Hours:

This is a part-time, seasonal position for 10 weeks.

Tuesday to Saturday:

8:30 PM - 1:30 AM

Sunday & Monday:

Off (except for long weekends)

Pay:

$20.00 per hour

Qualifications:

Previous security experience is recommended. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment. Strong customer service orientation. Reliable and punctual. Ability to handle minor conflicts or difficult situations calmly and effectively. Must be able to pass a police background check.
