Maintenance & Night Security - Full Time Seasonal, May through October

Position Overview:
The Maintenance & Night Security will play a critical role as part of the Queenston Operations team. In this position, they will be responsible for the cleanliness and security of our Queenston jet boating operations, including change rooms, restrooms and surrounding property.
Responsibilities:
Perform nightly cleaning of bathrooms, changing facilities and surrounding property (including mopping and garbage removal) to maintain high cleanliness standards.
Ensure the maintenance of exterior walkways, keeping them clear and safe for use.
Monitor and secure the facilities, vessels, and docks throughout the night to ensure the safety of company assets and compliance with Transport Canada regulations.
Conduct routine checks to identify and address any damages, deficiencies, or disturbances promptly.
Maintain vigilance over all areas to prevent unauthorized access or activities.
Address maintenance concerns proactively to minimize disruptions and maintain operational standards.
Adhere to all company health and safety regulations and ensure all practices are in line with established policies.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to the General Manager immediately
Typical working hours are 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with flexibility required for operational needs.
Health and Safety Responsibilities:
Understand and follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
Understanding of all MARSEC (Marine Security and Awareness) levels on how they relate to WJBT operations. In-house training is provided
Physical Demands and Other Requirements:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Attention to detail, time management and schedules
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, equipment, techniques and methods
Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
Ability to physically perform cleaning duties, such as vacuuming and mopping
Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs)
Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend
Ability to work in all weather conditions
