Best Western Premier Winnipeg East is looking to add another full-time team member to their Front Desk Team.

About the position

: Our guest services agents are the service ambassadors for our property and go above and beyond in providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Overnight and weekend availability required.

Summary of Responsibilities:



Reporting to Front Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Conduct night audit responsibilities such as processing guest check-ins/check-outs and managing payments accurately. Clean and inspect public areas, including bathrooms, fitness center, and meeting rooms, to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Provide friendly and efficient guest service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their inquiries promptly. Ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff by maintaining knowledge of emergency procedures. Coordinate effectively between departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues to their satisfaction. Fulfill special guest requests promptly and courteously. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of hotel entrances and parking lot. Be knowledgeable of information on the hotel and surrounding area. Process guest check-ins and room assignments following the hotel's rate structures, discounts, and upsell strategies. Accommodate special requests when possible. Collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing, and accounting policies and procedures.

Education and Experience Requirements:



Completion of High school required, post-secondary education in Hospitality preferred. 1 year minimum of experience required in the hospitality industry. Experience handling cash and completing some basic accounting transactions. We offer competitive compensation and opportunities for learning and growth. The successful candidate will be required to complete all the Best Western brand training after hiring.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
