Next.js Developer

Uxbridge, ON, CA, Canada

Job Description

Modall is a software development agency based in Uxbridge, Ontario. We are a small team of four: two co-founders and two employees, specializing in modern JavaScript frameworks.

We are looking for an experienced developer who is highly proficient in Next.js. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for clean, modern, and user-friendly interfaces and is eager to build cutting edge software alongside a talented team.

About Us

My co-founder and I, both 26, work every day in our Uxbridge office from about 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., including most weekends. We also have two employees who keep a regular 9-to-5 schedule Monday through Friday. We have been self-employed since 2019 and have built several businesses together. He handles the technical side, while I cover the non-technical.

By 2020, our side project (blog) was generating $8,000 monthly, attracting millions of organic clicks. We also successfully built and exited a project for 7 figures back in 2023.

The culture here is very much startup focused: our agency is up and running, and we are simultaneously building several new ventures. We want someone who is easy to work with, brings experience and fresh ideas, and matches our drive.

Our agency works with large clients, professional athletes, startups, and entrepreneurs to build and develop MVPs, SaaS platforms, mobile apps, and other software solutions. Beyond agency work, we are developing a few SaaS products of our own. We are looking for someone who can introduce new ideas, help us scale to the next level, and is ready to put in focused effort alongside us.

In addition to an employee, we would love to find a "co-founder" who shares our passion, entrepreneurial spirit, and wants to grow the company together. Our long-term vision is to build a portfolio of SaaS products and apps with the right team.

Our Products:

Endorsa (in development): https://endorsa.ca

Endorsa is a powerful, automated review generation platform designed to help businesses get more Google reviews, rank higher in search results, and stand out from competitors--effortlessly.
Shop Tweak (in development)

Shop Tweak started as a booking tool for a car detailing business and evolved into a CRM / scheduling software. The software is nearly complete and already in use.
