As a Project Coordinator for the Newcomer Employment Champions Program (NEC), youll be at the forefront of empowering employers to successfully hire, onboard, and retain newcomers. This role is all about creating meaningful connections, from recruiting new employers to join NEC, to collaborating with various partners to ensure newcomers are matched with the right opportunities. Youll work closely with community partners and be a key player in organizing events that promote the program and its mission. This position allows you to blend your passion for community building with your skills in project coordination, all while contributing to the YMCAs broader goals of diversity and social inclusion. You will be supported by a dynamic team and report directly to the Employment Supervisor.Responsibilities
